this advice came with one of my mum's long lectures during dinner...
no malas-malas ok!!!
i dun precisely remember word by word (as i was kind of absorbed with my dinner in a sense...hehe) but "mafhum"nya...(which means, "it means") sumthing like dis-
"tgk care chinese ajar anak dy, balik rumah terus buat kerje skolah...n den tusyen...x de duduk depan tv x gerak2...kalo maen, maen betul2!...kalo x siap kerje rumah kene rotan!...baru boleh pandai!...nnt nk cari kerje susah...org dah x tgk straight A's nie...kene lebeh!...tp stret A's tu kene ade jugak!...kerje nnt pon kene cepat!...jgn nk tunggu org suruh baru nk buat! hantar kerje on time!"...n follows...
these are mayb 1/10th of the talks...hehe...well, mama was working with chinese back then, but i can't deny most of them are consistent workers! thankfully, they do motivate me...i just never had the chance to study in a mixed school yet since primary.
"blajarlah hingga ke negeri china!"
well, in conclusion...i found out wut mama meant was, if u wanna do sumthing...do it as best as you could!...
*yesterday's lecture - cud an otorhinolaryngologist prevented WWI???
