i dun usually hav a specific music genre's fav, it really depends on my interest at dat moment...n today, it's about "ka-ching!" by shania twain...
coz, in a way...it reminds me of this event-
just a few days before i started my primary school, my mom called me to come into her room n learn something...learn how to use *MONEY* (*blink2*)
now, money is another thing am really interested in investigating...LOL
so, my first introduction to money was to remember these-
owh...easy...haha
nex...
we mock-played as a customer and a seller...my mom was the seller, n i was the customer (obviously)...
"ok, kalau kklg nk beli air harge 30 sen, which one will you give the cashier?"...my mom asked...
i pointed to these...(hehe da budget kene kire2)
"hurm, if u dun have these...if u only have this...kklg kene buat camane?"
hurm...i need to change it into those smaller values first then...dunno~
"kalau kklg x de duit yg nilai dy kecik, org kedai tu kene bagi baki la...from 50 cent, tolak 30cent air td how much shud you get?" my mom taught me-
"20!" i replied..."okay, yg mane satu?"she asked-
"yg ni!"...i pointed
n so on...we carried on wif diffrent ways n values of using the money...(x ingt details...it was a millennium ago~)...n sumhow, i realized it became like some sort of ritual to my sibs n me whenever any one of us is about to enter primary school, my mum will call us over to her room n teach us one by one....
thnx mama...being independent here n getting the chance to hold *big* money (RM 10 was a big amount to me once...LOL)...i realized how crucial it was for you to teach me dat lesson 14 yrs ago-
*tho being busy is tiresome, but free time kills you!
*cultural day report - i can't believe myself dat i never knew anything about kazakhstan!!!! preposterous!...i knew dat these "-stans" ending countries do exist, but how on earth have i never thought of finding out about their culture, people n country??? (i jz knew where they are situated in the world's map yesterday...can u believe dat?)...since yesterday's crowd was unbelievably copious, i'll hav to find out more about them tomorrow~ :D

a place for everything, and everything...must be in place!!!
"....if i've said it once i've said it,
at least a thousand times before that
you're too old to act this way,
it must be, your father's DNA!
look at me when i am talking,
stand up straighter when you walk,
a place for everything,
and everything must be in place,
stop crying or i'll give you something real to cry about,
oh!"
i purposely copied the lyrics of the video on the left bar...
because...it strongly, n remarkably accurately reminds me of my mom!
(it's just too many times that my mom have to say "brape kali mama nk cakap???...da amek letak balik kat tmpat dy!!!")
for example,i took a jar of 'coco crunch' to in front of the TV as snacks and how interestingly forgettable i cud b to leave it der and get the same sentence of -"brape kali mama nk cakap???...da amek letak balik kat tempat dy!!!"- the moment my mum saw d'jar of 'coco crunch'~
or if i took out some mugs for a drink and left it on the dining table (d excuse was always, i just used it once..huhu), or a stack of newspaper (dis one ayah yg slalu kene...hehe) or,...so many more~
and dat's why, every time i look at the mess on my table now (ecece...nk specific kat meja je plak)...ok fine...in my room...i am always reminded dat...if only i put things from where i got them dis mess wudn't b here...hehe~
-tidiness is more preferable as a muslim-
*alf syukran to everybody involved in yesterday's international day! i had a million joys!:D... (iqa baby face???)
cultural day on the move!
*happy bday kinah kamil!!! - go n call ur momsss~

car ride~
i heard a story once in one of the motivational camps we used to have during high school...the motivator said-
"i was driving the car, wif my dad behind me and my mum beside him...they were already old at the moment n i was keen to spend s much of my time wif them...suddenly, my dad was kicking the back of my seat vigorously...'wut's happen dad?' i asked...'nothin' he answered...'then why are you kickin?'...'owh!...i've been dying to do dis for ages! so now u know now how i feel evrytime i drive n sumbody kept kickin' even tho i said no!...hahaha'"
LOL...got it?...the father was having fun revenging...
the moment i heard dis story, i am always reminded to b silent in a car...and particularly after i took my driving liscence's test...hehe
y...
cause my mom always says
'senyap sikit dlm kreter!...ayah kene focus kat jalan raye!'
['be quiet in the car!...dad needs to focus on the road!']
LOL~
#safe trip evrybody!...(hope the three of u speak chinese bile da balik nnt!)

body posture
dis is one of my mother's continuous advice-
sit straight!...don't hunch!
i was never aware of how am sitting tho...so it's really a fuss to b reminding myself dat i am not sitting straight...
but alas!, i found out sitting straight is actually good for ur health- respiration in praticular, so dat we get enough oxygen n can concentrate more...
plus...during meals...sitting up straight helps ur food digest properly
a proper way how to sit-
a sweet table manners introduction...jz so innocent ...lol-

pengorbanan ayah
today's advice end up with a tragic sacrifice by my dad-
we were on a trip, and we stayed in a cabin (or mayb a camp...i cant specifically rmmbr the place)...n in dat cabin/camp was dis-
-a nice short stand fan standing low on one of the cabinet
at home, we dun have dis kind of fan...we jz have the traditional ceiling ones...so we were kind of excited to meet dis other species of fans (ehem...i was around 5 yrs old okay!)...n my mum introduced us to this fan
"ni kipas!...kalau tekan butang nnt dy pusing, n angin dy kuar macam kipas kat atas tu...cume yg atas tu gune suis"
"ooo"...i mouthed...n s usual, i started to investigate the function of dis thing, i pushed the button n a gush of air blew at me...i was so intrigued...i went closer and...
"eh jgn dekat2!...kalo termasuk jari kat dlm tu nanti luke...yg pusing2 tu tajam tu!"...my mum warned
remember i said i wasn't convince if the warning was jz explained...(hehe)
i guess my dad still saw the curiosity in my face or sumthing because the nex thing happened was -
"tengok nie ayah letak jari dlm kipas!" my dad said in front of the spinning fan...he put in his finger n...
"OUCH!!!"...my dad pulled away his bleeding finger...erk!...n my mum came fussing n said..."la...yg gi letak jari tu betol2 dlm kipas tu kenape???"
huhu...i seriously never came nearer a stand fan except to push the start button on after dat...LOL...
thnx ayah...hehe-

no brooch!...but ~
today's post is a very nostalgic one..:D
it's about my fondness of this tiny, sweet, cute little things -
i started liking these cute shiny brooches when i was jz 5-6 years old...it was my mum's
she looked so cool pinning them on her scarfs n i really wanted to try 'em on, but she never let me...
y?...
"tak boleh!!!nanti tercucuk dlm leher...berdarah...susah nnt!"..
[no!!! u might get pricked in ur neck...it'll bleed...it's not gonna b nice!"]
huhu...i seriously dun believe dat...those brooches are tiny!...how dangerous can they be?...so, as an immature child, i gave out my tantrums wif the reason dat i hav to wear scarfs (yeah ryte...while frankly i aimed for the brooches...LOL)
so my mum gave out a solution...
coz i wanted so much to wear those scarfs...she sew one for me so i dun need to use the brooch...huh???
well, i get to wear the scarf alright plus, made me late for school n made my dad late for class too...huhu...i wasn't satisfied, i'll try nex time wif another excuse...LOL
the next opportunity came...dis tyme we were on a trip, and for sure my mum didn't bring her sewing machines along...LOL...i made the same excuse again!...
and dis tyme, my mum came out wif another solution-
"tak boleh pakai pin!...bahaya!!!...mari sini mama ikat, kita ikat naek atas...jadi cam rabbit!...haa...kan comel macam rabbit...ayah tgk...comel x yana???"
[no, u can't wear those pins!...very dangerous!!!...come here i tie 'em, we tie 'em up...like a rabbit!...see...isn't it cute like a rabbit...ayah, come n see...isn't yana cute???]
rabbit????...haha...staying stubborn i said no!...it's not cute at all!!...i dun like it!!!
huhu...sorry ma...but frankly, i actually like d'idea at dat moment...jz frustrated i dun get to wear those brooches on my scarfs ( n i wanted dem specifically on the neck part...hehe)
thnx for not allowing me to use 'em tho...it was pretty dangerous, come to think of it-
now, evrytime i recall the incident i can't stop smiling!...how funny it was~
so dat's how i came to have dis weird fondness of brooches-..but only the small shiny cute ones...:D

yesterday i went bowling wif some of gen6 girls...i wasn't meant to b in the crowd tho but it was damn fun!!! (sorry kacau sc bhah n sc kinah~)
wut made me wanna go?...LOL
well, i did go bowling b4 dis a couple of tymes, it's jz dat it never worked out well...n so i asked for tips from my dad...but, ahmad came n said-
"kaklong, mama maen aritu dr spuluh, tujuh strike!"
[sis, mum played b4 n she got 7 strike out of 10!]
wut???...really???
so i quickly nagged my mum for tips, n she said-
"mama pun x tau...mama pegi kat situ, aim ikut arrow dy, letak bola n tolak-"
[i dunno how, i jz went der, aim on the arrow, put the ball down n pushed-]
uhuh?(raisin my eyebrow)...dat easy?...
after dat i was dying to try it out~
wut happened yesterday?...LOL...wut i can jz say is - sabar gile jela n iqa ajar ak~
well, one thing is for sure - bowling will never b my profession!,
but it's a really gud way for me to get frustrated n crazily happy (even tho satu pin je yg jatuh...haha)
at least, yana was the best player~...ley tumpang x yana?...since bday kite same???
*ma...i wasn't dat lucky...huhu~

bloody knife
dun get frightened...i purposely chose dis title because i used it to google up pictures...hehe
the event in question passed through me so fast n silent i might not even noticed it had occurred...like any other accident i absolutely have forgotten! except, of course sumthing else keep on reminding me about it-
sharp objects! (especially if u need to get an injection)
it was about 15-16 yrs ago...when it is just isn't enough if people explain "don't" to me...i jz can't believe it until it really happened...lol
my mom never let me hold a knife...n i really want to get the "feeling" of cutting something with a knife...it's a must!...(u know when u get dis feeling, it's really hard to forget about it)
we had an "open-house"... and finally my shining chance appeared!...my mom n dad was too busy wif guests n der was a "comb" of banana in the living room with a nice, sharp, long knife beside it...wow! my dream came true...(haha, x ley bla!)
i snatched the knife n hold on to it strongly as if afraid my mom wud grab it straight away...i checked out if the coast was clear...(mom n dad was busy chatting)...wif a determined mind (i must do dis!!!)...i hold the bunch if bananas in my left hand n the sharp knife in my right...n pushed the sharp edge of the knife onto the banana trunk -
huh?...nothing happened!, the banana's trunk (the one the red arrow was pointing) just had a slight scratch...
erm...mayb it needs mor force (my little mind calculated dat simple math)
so, with the next determination of giving all out to detach dis banana way from its fellow, i firmed my left hand's grasp on the banana n pushed the knife with my whole heart...but still!...it wont go thru!...
i recalled watching men working wif saw, they slide it back n forth...mmm...dat might do the trick!
again, with all the forces left in me added wif my new theory (SAW...LOL)...i gave my third try...
and finallly~
OUCH!!!
dat DID the trick!...
unfortunately...i again, failed to detach the banana but succeeded on bleeding my index finger! (a VERY deep cut!...mind you, the scar is still present now!)...the feeling of sharp pain!...i never, EVER forget the stinging pain!...but i jz can't recall wut happened next...
i might had went howling to my mum complainin of the bleeding finger or just kept quiet to myself (of course embarrassed especially many people were present at the moment), afraid of crossing my mother's instruction of "DO NOT TOUCH THE KNIFE!!!"
LOL...i definitely can't forget this lesson
- dun argue wif the explanation of "don't" when ur mom gave em!...but i jz have to feel it for myself...oh y???...haha

dun cough at the table
today's advice i rmmbred when we had our community medicine round and most of us were not remotely in our best health...
a lot of flu n cough that early winter...
my mom always reminds us not to cough at the table (infront of somebody) especially if der's food...if u wanna cough, face sumwhere nobody is der or simply close ur nose n mouth...[droplet infection]
dis might look like a trivial issue but how many of us really actually care about dis?
yg da blajar 'commed' shud've really understood the importance of trivial measures dat finally end up preventing major chaos! [need to start revising 'untouched' commed now...huhu]
mom alway's know the best!...:D
# surgery was nice today!

dining etiquette
my mom used to tell us, once we've finished our meal...to put our fork n spoon close together...( usually done when we were eating outside, if at home...take ur plates to the sink n wash them!...:D)
like dis-
i never really took great notice about dis until..
we had a proper lesson about dining etiquette during my prep classes in intec...
we did dis in intecma resort wif actual dining (terus practical, x de theory pon n it was one of the funniest event i enjoyed in intec)...
the lecturer/tutor/prof said dat, when we finish dining, put the fork n spoon together...dis act indicates dat u hav finished n the waitress wil come n collect ur plate!
owh...it hardly reminds me of wut my mom used to tell us...but really, it's not widely practice if u go dining around egypt restaurants (that we can actually afford...lol)
dat's all for today-
*million thnx to evrybody last night!...it was splendid!!! (sc gabungan)
from the outside it's tea...in the inside...LOL

ich sing fuer mama
today's post coincide wif reason no. 3 y i chose dis month s My Mama's Month...:D
3. on 4th march is my birthday!
about 21 yrs ago...it was a bright morning i suppose...(no idea, i simply can't recall a thing wut had happened at the moment...so, dis is wut i thought had happened)...an exhausted women was waiting in a labor room...a man stood beside her, holding her hands...
"dis must really hurts!" thought the man to himself s his hands were almost crushed by her strong clutch (dis one my dad told me about it...:p)
at 8.30 a.m., in the morn of march 4th 1989...
finally, bless God!...a 'very cute' tiny baby came peeking out into dis amazing world~
of course dis 'cute' creature never knew what will she face in the coming tymes...(sory terbajet cute...lol)
but s she arrived on her 21st yr, she realized one wrong thing (many actually but dis is definitely a crucial mistake)...
evry time 4th march arrived those 20 yrs ago, she expected to b celebrated...congratulated...(not actually self conscious, but nobody purposely forgot d'day dey were born even tho they dun like celebrating dem - dis is my self defense...lol...bare wif me for a little while)
but dis yr, she tot to herself after countless of miracles n discoveries she plucked out of dis magnificent world...y?...y am i celebrating the day that mark another yr closer to death?...another few months, or weeks infact mayb even days from the after world?...
so, alright...i'll celebrate dis day s my renovation day!...dis yr shud b better than last yr...(of course it shud- insyaAllah - tlg ameenkn)
but then again, dis is still a mistake...am not the one supposed to b celebrated today...it doesn't cost me any difficulty peeping into dis world the first tyme...not even a single sweat...no hospital fees to b paid, no new clothes n new attire to be prepared, not even efforts to push myself out...
21 yrs ago, on 4th march (sebut bnyk2 kali so u guys wont forget it...lol)...a woman an a man struggled their efforts n savings for the joy of having this grown up 'girl' (am still a girl i dun care!) alive n able to roam around this wide humongous world~
so,
i regard over everybody's wishes for me today to my beloved mom who sacrificed her life trying to carry me all those months in her womb n delivering me safely into this universe n taking care of me for all those 21 yrs dat has passed untill i became someone like i am now~...n thnx also to my dad who shaped my mind n taught me evrything he knew-
wish them! okay peeps-
and also, on this 'precious' day, i dedicate this song to the one responsible for my being alive
[his face cam adeeq mase kecik kn mama...:p]
a german song entitled 'i sing for mama'
thnx for bringing me into this world mama!...i can't imagine not being able to be alive...i luv exploring this world n feeling all the emotions n experiences in stored-
n so i will always 'sing' for u n ayah!
#when i was in 3rd yr secondary school, my school principal (ke principle?...k, my english teacher will kill me for forgetting dis again!) gave us a very touching advice dat i never forget till today...
"your parents are your life here (dis world) as long as u r not married (i was in an all girls school), so evrytime you here the 'azan', say the azan's prayer n combine it wif a prayer for ur mom n dad (the most common one, of course u know it) so dat you will never forget to pray for them evryday!"
practice dat okay evrybody~
* today's post came in late s i finished my class late - a fabulous lecture from dr asyraf fayek the one info i jz can't help but to share it coz i felt it really last yr-
-dun feel for 'laryngeal click' on ur own body! please! or not evryone of you will think that you have post-cricoid carcinoma n dis is true!...dis obsession happens to all of us and by the end of the year you end up having 120 diseases-
nice typing today! n thnx for reading till d end~

* today's post came in late s i finished my class late - a fabulous lecture from dr asyraf fayek the one info i jz can't help but to share it coz i felt it really last yr-
-dun feel for 'laryngeal click' on ur own body! please! or not evryone of you will think that you have post-cricoid carcinoma n dis is true!...dis obsession happens to all of us and by the end of the year you end up having 120 diseases-

mind ur neighbours
nex table manners advice~
mind ur neighbours!
we used to have evry meal together, n if the table is small, my sibs n i always argue about our territory...lol
imagine sitting like dis-
we wud argue about chairs, about elbows hitting each other, about even food...not dat der's no space or anything...i tink we jz love annoying each other...until my mum got fed up and finally said-
" cube simpan siku tu tyme mkn! jgn bg kene org...org x gaduh depan mknn!...x murah rezeki nnt!"
"do tuck ur elbows to urself during meals! so dat u won't hit others...people dun fight in front of the food!...(x tau nk tanslate ni camne)"
oopss...da kene marah~...lol
well, during our primary school yrs...we jz luv fighting each other, never really meant to annoy my sibs...jz pure jokes...lol, but dis advice (simpan siku) always made me think about the comfort of other people in my vicinity s long s i am der...i became kind of cautious if i ever made others annoyed or irritated of course excpt my sibs....lol, can't really help it when u get the chance to nudge dem...sorry guys! (tho actually most of the time i was the victim...huhu)
well...dat's today's advice...
a little info for my dear classmates,
jz now i stayed back to ask why we treat acute otitis media wif warm nasal drops...
the book explains so dat warmth can increase vascularity...
hurm...y do we need to do so s the inflammation itself is increase in vascularity?,
n dr sherrif answered to increase more body defense to the rescue...we r treating the cause...not the symptom!

no breathing while drinkin
we'll start wif table etiquettes as i got most of 'em during my kindergarten years...hehe
(i recall advices dat follow events which leaves mark in my inner mind~)
i got dis advice when i was around 3-4 yrs old...
either dat day was a very hot day or i was impossibly active...i came into the kitchen panting
me: (panting) ma nk air!!!
[ma, i want drink!]
mama: nah!
[here]
me: gulp!gulp!gulp!
mama: no sayang...minum air bukan macam tu!...meh sini mama ajar care minum air
[no dear, we don't drink like that!...come here i'll teach you]
mama: mula2 duduk, pastu tarik nafas...minum sikit...teguk tiga kali...jauhkn cawan dari mulut...hembus nafas...n minum lagi skali macam tadi...faham?...k, yana cube plak-
[first, sit down, take a breath...drink a bit n swallow 3 times...pull the cup away from your mouth...exhale...and drink again like just now...got it?...k, now u try it]
dun breathe in the cup...minum pelan2...
[dun breathe in the cup...drink slowly]
and so i tried...n dat's been my way of drinking since...lol (tipu sngt...but most of the time yes!)...of course it's difficult to maintain drinking slowly when u r extremely thirsty n jz finished a 7 km marathon...huhu...
so...drink your water slowly...wut's d'benefit btw?...never crossed my mind to think about it...hurm...
i guess, it makes us look polite~...lol
well,
﴾ كُنتُمْ خَيْرَ أُمَّةٍ أُخْرِجَتْ لِلنَّاسِ﴿
(You are the best of peoples ever raised up for mankind) ﴿3:110
so it won't hurt to act like one ryte?...thnx for dis advice mama!
*kagum ngan ketabahan ami...may Allah always be with you dear!

a nice story from a book entitled "HEALING BODY & SOUL" by Amira Ayad i got from the last maarad
dis is in it's epilogue (but i havnt actually finished the whole book yet)
I want to end with a little story happened long ago when the Muslim army was fighting against the Persian Empire. The Muslims were defeated in the first few rounds of battle, so their commander, Sa'd ibn Abi Waqqas (r.a) gathered his men to reevaluate their resources and position. All seemed under control: the Muslim army had a great number of fighters and a good resources; so what was the problem then? Sa'd concluded that this defeat must be a punishment from Allah for their sins, so he ordered each of them to repent and ask Allah for forgiveness and check for any misdeed that he had committed or any act of worship he had forgotten to perform. All the men were good Muslims, with sincere intentions and the true will and power to fight the enemies. Still, he insisted, they must have neglected some of Allah or His Prophet's orders. They wen through the obligatory and the non-obligatory acts of worship, and then through the entire Sunnah of the Prophet to find their weak point. Finally, Sa'd realised that they had been neglecting the Sunnah of siwak. They were not using siwak as our Prophet used to do before prayer. How strange it seems: men at the battlefront who thought that their weak point was that they were not brushing their teeth five times a day!
Sa'd ordered for the siwak sticks to be distributed to each Muslim in the army and asked them all to follow our Prophet's Sunnah. No one argued, no one questioned his commander's reasoning; no one asked what siwak had to do with winning or loosing the battle against the strongest army on the face of the earth.
Meanwhile, the Persian army had sent spies to check on the Muslim's camp. The Persians at that time looked upon the Arabs as primitive, uncivilized nation, so when the spies reached the Arabs' camp and saw them rubbing their teeth with sticks, they failed to understand what was going on, until one of them shouted: "they are sharpening their teeth to eat us alive; they are cannibals!"
The Persian spies ran back to their camp and the news spread like wildfire. The whole army panicked, and most of the Persian fortresses were abandoned and fell easily into the Muslim's hands.
Do you see the moral of the story? Do not underestimate even seemingly insignificant orders form Allah and His Messenger (s.a.w) (the Qur'an and the Sunnah), even if you do not understand the wisdom behind it.
der...funny n wise isnt it?
i copied word by word from the book n overall the book is very interesting to spent ur free time...:)
salam Maulidurrasul - uhibbu ya Rasulullah~

genius = dobby ???
rmmbr alicia key's song
"wut goes around comes around wut goes up must come down..."
the statement up there, i believe is describing dat we anticipate failure, we fear it wud happen...
well, u see~
we are not just tested with difficulties n hardship...pleasure and happiness is also a test
elizabeth gilbert here describes how a success is not actually quite welcoming to these "geniuses"

In the Name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
Everyone is going to taste death, and We shall make a trial of you with evil and with good. And to Us you will be returned.
(surah al anbiya' verse 35)
elizabeth gilbert here describes how a success is not actually quite welcoming to these "geniuses"
i pardon for the "oley oley" info at the end of this speech...i also jz knew it the moment she mentioned it... but what is important is to take what is beneficial for us ryte?
so another lesson...history of evrything is crucial to be studied (but i dunno how to b interested in studying history..huhu)
what i conclude here...we humans can't run from the fact that we believe in God...we need to believe that there is a higher power that controls us...means we need a religion!...so, why need to make up assumptions or imagine a dobby if truth has been told since 1400 yrs ago?
ryte?
# i truthfully intended no offense against anybody...jz a tot i think worth sharing~
# congratulations to the newly weds - kak qilah n isa
# happy bday to my dearest jiejie - iqa and also to cuna n mr president - saini~
a lovely blessed february i am experiencing ryte now...:D (full of happy endings n beginnings...hehe)

names
last Thursday was our last ENT(1) class b4 holiday...
d'dr dat day, during discussing the complications of otitis media(2) gave me a very intriguing statement (which made me google it up) - he said:
"did you know why temporal(3) bone is called temporal?
bcoz it comes from a latin word named tempus meaning time
those people noticed from the temporal bone came the first sign of aging. which is the grey hair, therefor it indicates time...
and mastoid(4), because it looks like the nipple of breast."
hmm...so they r named because of their character then...okay, frontalis(5) is logic becoz it is the front most situated...occipital(6) becoz it is the furthest...wut about parietal(7)?
so i start googling...here's the anatomy of skull for those who havnt learn them yet or already forget our 2nd yr's anatomy lectures
i found it helps me to imagine n in ENT intro also..
so, the result of my diction's google =
therefor the parietal bone is named parietal because of its character of being a wall to the brain...well, technically all the skull bones are walls of the brain ...hehe...mayb bcoz it didnt have any other peculiar character (angkat bahu...)
interesting ryte how stuffs are named?
wut about ourselves?...why are we named like wut our names are?
when people call out our names evryday...it acts like a du'a...so dat we become like wut we are called...
so the moral of the story - find a meaningfully nice nickname~
