sakura in cairo?

in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious the Most Merciful

39. And among His Sign (in this), that you see the earth barren, but when We send down water (rain) to it, it is stirred to life and growth (of vegetations). Verily, He Who gives it life, surely, (He) is Able to give life to the dead (on the Day of Resurrection). Indeed! He is Able to do all things.

sadaqallahu al Azim
surah Fussilat, verse 39

reading this verse, reminds me of a tree in our beloved faculty
this particular tree...
the one just beside anatomy department in front of the conference center,
i honestly thought it was dead...sitting under it in the chilly winter...
i pity that it might be chopped off as there was major 'tree grooming' occurring throughout our faculty

a few months ago it was just tree trunk n branches...not even a single leaf on it...or mayb a tiny one or two...
it look exactly like my grandma's mangosteen tree that was struck by lightning back in malaysia

but...
as spring approaches...tiny leaves started to peak out from its tiny branches...

the tree on the left which is almost see through

and by 3 weeks or so after that...it was laden with greenary and even flowers blooming out of it!

not so see through anymore

am just like...huh?...it felt like just yesterday i wonder when would it be cutdown...hehe
sam said 'that tree must b laughing at you back then'
duh!~

*do we have any ways like 'conduction nerve studies' or EMG to know the viability of a tree?

anyway, just wanna show how i just realized 'spring' in Kasr el Ainy...
(after 6 years??!!)

emmm, well...we used to be in study leave in the past 5 years during this season...

no wonder i never noticed!
even if i was walking to the faculty for the exams, i might have not paid any attention to the trees...and of course not their blooming flowers

*the title is "sakura" because shae said that these flowers are related to the 'sakura's' in Japan...hee
they are orangie bright red...but the one at the front gate is pink...^^ (no pictures though)

sakura in cairo??...hehe
Egypt certainly has the potentials to be as good or even better than Japan

i was told 6 years ago that i'll be going to a country that is known as "أم الدنيا"
^_^

all the best Egyptians for this presidential elections
may all your efforts will be paid
and Allah grant you people that really cares for this country

إِنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَىْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
