a fren of mine, the one who always comes to my help evrytime the exam is around the corner told me this-
do u know why people pray
"ya Allah, give me 'taufiq' n 'hidayah'"...
wut's the meaning of taufiq?
wut is the meaning of hidayah?
hidayah means guidance...obvious thing to be asked for
while taufiq...literally means success granted by God, successfulness n prosperity (also an obvious need)
but my fren here explains...it also means: we ask God to give us the ability to perform the necessaries in order to achieve this success- (if it is wrong do correct me)
this really is a wonderful meaning...i jz realized we've been asking for strength to move on...for ability to achive...not just the success
