death is really a good reminder
that we do not have much time to waste
(lynn! move on n study!!!
stop facebookin stop drawin stop readin non textbook stuff!!!!!!...haha,
need to push myself now)
anyway...
last wednesday, one of my Dr's cancelled our afternoon class
and after some discussion with a couple of my classmates,
i was left with another hour to 2 o'clock's lecture
so i decided to spend my time in the masjid behind the tropical's department (or is it beside?)
(dang! should've join 28A's unit...i forgot Dr. Moataz is on wednesday...huuu~)
but...there was a surprise for me in that masjid
just after i finished solat dzuhr,
i get to see down in the 'guys' floor that a body is being brought into the masjid
people gathered and lined up
and i heard the announcement for a funeral prayer.
my first encounter of my whole 6 years!!
well, not suppose to b a surprise
since every time i drop by the masjid for solat dzuhr, i was always in a hurry...
sometimes i just crash into a nearby musolla - to the lecture hall buildings (either in microbs or lecture hall B)
i got up n prayed along...
it occurred to me...
death does not always come by with a pleasant knock on your door and patiently waiting for you to open it or a ring that he'll come by tomorrow or nex week or another half an hour
death comes when it is destined to come...
a secret date
hence,
we always need to b prepared...
of course for ourselves...
but also, for people around us too
do we know how to handle a dead?
do we know how to bathe a dead?
do we know how to pray for a dead?
(thnx for ur sharing yesterday kk!)
(it's in malay language)
salam 27th rejab...
(sorry x de kaitan dgn isra' mikraj....since this was my encounter during the week)
Allahumma balighna ramadhan ^^
*do pray for our brothers n sisters in palestine, syria, myanmar n those being mistreated
-this world is getting nastier by the minute
-humanity is underrated, instead pretension is apprised :'(

True, death is something unavoidable. It'll caught you off guard. Makes you think of life and such. Ah, the short journey of life afterall.
There's a quote i like about life. Meh meh nak share nih
"You are nothing but a number of days, and whenever a day passes away, a part of you passes away" Hassan Al Basri
Buat diri tak rasa excited nak sambut birthdays plak. hehe

come to think of it, we've been passing away every night...it's jz that Allah is still merciful and gave another day for us to repent...
all the best dear!
